How To Install
For maximum safety and stability, Monster Armor recommends installing each floating shelf using hardware appropriate for your specific wall type and application. Whenever possible, shelves should be mounted directly into a wall stud. If stud mounting is not possible, appropriate drywall anchors or equivalent mounting hardware must be used.
Before placing collectibles or other items on the shelf, ensure the shelf is securely mounted and test the stability and rigidity of the installation. Improper installation may result in the shelf detaching from the wall, which could cause injury or property damage.
To ensure proper fitment of acrylic display cases and collectibles, screws should be installed flush with the surface of the floating shelf. Screws that protrude above the shelf surface may interfere with the proper placement and stability of the display case.
The use of Command™ Strips or any adhesive-based hanging products is not recommended for installation of this shelf.

Monster Armor Floating Shelves are specifically designed for displaying standard 4-inch Funko Pop® protective cases, including Monster Armor cases and other compatible protectors up to 5 mm thick.
Because every installation is different—including wall construction, mounting hardware, anchor selection, and whether the shelf is secured to a wall stud—we do not publish a maximum weight capacity. It is the installer's responsibility to determine whether the wall, hardware, and intended display are suitable for the items being displayed.
Always use appropriate mounting hardware for your wall type, ensure the shelf is securely installed, and periodically inspect the installation for continued stability.
Floating Shelf Design
Monster Armor Floating Shelves are designed with an open-sided, minimalist profile to create the appearance that your collectible is floating on the wall. This open design is an intentional part of the shelf's aesthetic and allows your display to remain the focal point.
Because the sides are open, protective cases are not mechanically secured to the shelf. If a shelf is installed out of level, mounted improperly, placed on an unstable wall, or subjected to bumps, vibration, or other external forces, displayed items may shift or fall from the shelf.
Always ensure the shelf is installed level and securely using appropriate mounting hardware for your wall type. Periodically verify that the shelf remains secure and avoid placing shelves in locations where they may be frequently bumped or disturbed.
This product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children and pets.

Designed to pair seamlessly with most standard 4" Funko Pop acrylic protector cases up to 5 mm thick, the Monster Armor Floating Shelf provides a clean, secure display solution for a wide variety of protectors.
Because acrylic cases from different manufacturers—and even individual cases from the same manufacturer—can vary slightly in their dimensions, wall thickness, and overall fit, we strongly recommend testing a single shelf with your specific protector before purchasing or installing multiple shelves.
Depending on the protector design, mounting hardware used, and installation method, some cases may sit closer to the screw heads or mounting area than others. When removing or repositioning a protector, use care to help avoid scratching the case.

What type of screw should I use?
For the most secure installation, we recommend mounting directly into a wall stud using appropriate wood screws. If stud mounting is not possible, use high-quality drywall anchors or mounting hardware specifically rated for your wall type and intended load. Customers have reported successful installation using #6 wood screws, which have been found to sit nearly flush within the countersunk mounting holes; however, these screws may not be appropriate for all applications. Always ensure screws sit properly within the countersunk mounting holes before placing collectibles on the shelf. The installer is solely responsible for selecting the appropriate mounting hardware and verifying the shelf is safely and securely installed for their specific application.

We strongly recommend installing the shelf using appropriate screws and mounting hardware for your wall type. The use of adhesive mounting products, including Command Strips or similar alternatives, is not recommended and may result in the shelf failing or detaching from the wall. Users choosing to utilize adhesive mounting methods do so entirely at their own risk.

Because load capacity depends on numerous factors—including wall construction, mounting hardware, installation method, and the item being displayed—we do not publish a maximum weight rating. It is the user's responsibility to ensure the shelf is properly installed using appropriate hardware and that the combined weight of the displayed items is suitable for their specific installation. The shelf should only be used for its intended purpose.
