Product Disclaimer
Monster Armor products are designed to help display and protect collectible items; however, no display shelf, protective case, or accessory can guarantee protection from all forms of damage. By purchasing, installing, or using any Monster Armor product, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
Installation Responsibility
The customer and/or installer is solely responsible for selecting appropriate mounting hardware, verifying wall construction, ensuring proper installation, and confirming that the shelf is securely mounted for the intended application. Monster Armor does not supply mounting hardware because wall materials, mounting surfaces, and installation requirements vary significantly.
Improper installation, incorrect hardware selection, failure to follow accepted installation practices, or exceeding the intended load capacity may result in shelf failure, property damage, personal injury, or damage to collectibles.
Monster Armor Floating Shelves are designed for displaying compatible collectible cases. Because installation methods, wall materials, mounting hardware, displayed items, and environmental conditions vary, Monster Armor cannot guarantee the performance or safety of any individual installation.
The open-sided floating design does not mechanically secure displayed items to the shelf. Displayed items may shift or fall if the shelf is installed improperly, out of level, overloaded, bumped, subjected to vibration, or otherwise disturbed.
By purchasing, installing, or using this product, you acknowledge that you assume all responsibility for its installation and use. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that Monster Armor shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or other liability arising out of or relating to the installation, use, misuse, modification, overloading, or inability to use this product.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Inspect the installation periodically and discontinue use if the shelf becomes loose, damaged, or unstable.
Collectible Protection
Monster Armor display shelves and protective cases are intended to reduce exposure to common environmental contaminants such as dust, fingerprints, and everyday handling. They are not impact-proof, child-proof, theft-proof, waterproof, fireproof, airtight, or designed to prevent damage caused by accidents, natural disasters, environmental conditions, exposure to UV rays, improper handling, or unforeseen events.
Collectors remain solely responsible for the care, storage, handling, transportation, placement, and preservation of their collectibles at all times.
No Liability for Collectible Damage
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Monster Armor shall not be liable for any loss of value or any damage to collectibles, packaging, artwork, autographs, acrylic protectors, display cases, shelves, walls, furniture, or any other person or personal property arising from or related to:
- Improper installation or use
- Incorrect mounting hardware
- Shelf failure resulting from improper installation
- Product misuse or abuse
- Overloading shelves or displays
- Accidental drops or impacts
- Earthquakes, vibrations, or movement of walls or structures
- Household accidents
- Environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, moisture, UV exposure, or temperature fluctuations
- Manufacturing variations or dimensional differences between collectible protectors or display cases
- Normal wear and tear
- Cleaning methods or chemicals
- Transportation or relocation
- Third-party products used in conjunction with Monster Armor products
- Alleged manufacturing defects
- Or any other cause arising from the installation, use, misuse, or ownership of Monster Armor products
This limitation applies regardless of whether the collectible is rare, signed, graded, limited edition, or otherwise valuable.
Compatibility Notice
Monster Armor products are designed around industry-standard dimensions whenever possible. However, collectible protectors, display cases, and collectibles manufactured by third parties may vary slightly in size, shape, acrylic thickness, tolerances, or overall dimensions.
Although many third-party products have been found to fit well with Monster Armor products, compatibility with third-party products cannot be guaranteed and may change without notice as manufacturers update their own products and specifications. Customers are strongly encouraged to test a single shelf or protective case with their specific collectible or protector before purchasing or installing multiple units.
Handmade Product Notice
Certain Monster Armor products are individually manufactured, assembled, or finished by hand. As a result, minor cosmetic variations, dimensional differences, edge finishing, or manufacturing tolerances may exist. These variations are normal, do not affect intended functionality, and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Inspection Before Use
Customers are responsible for inspecting all products before installation and use. Do not install or use any product that appears damaged, cracked, bent, defective, or otherwise compromised.
Small Parts & Magnet Warning
Monster Armor products are intended for collectible display and are not toys. Some products may contain small parts and/or magnets that could present a choking or other safety hazard if swallowed or handled improperly.
Keep all products out of reach of children and pets. If any component becomes loose, damaged, or detached, discontinue use immediately.
Assumption of Risk
By using Monster Armor products, the customer voluntarily assumes all risks associated with displaying, storing, installing, mounting, and protecting their collectibles. The customer accepts full responsibility for determining whether a product is suitable for their intended application.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monster Armor's total liability arising from the purchase or use of any product shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the specific Monster Armor product giving rise to the claim.
Under no circumstances shall Monster Armor be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of collectible value, loss of investment, emotional distress, lost profits, or replacement costs.
Product Improvements
Monster Armor reserves the right to modify, discontinue, replace, or improve product designs, specifications, materials, dimensions, finishes, manufacturing processes, packaging, or accessories at any time without prior notice.
No Professional Advice
Any installation guidance, compatibility information, product recommendations, or customer support provided by Monster Armor is offered as general information only and should not be considered professional engineering, construction, or safety advice. Customers remain solely responsible for determining the suitability of any installation method or application.
No Guarantee
Because every collection, installation, display environment, and application is unique, Monster Armor cannot guarantee any particular result, level of protection, or product performance in every situation.
Acceptance of Terms
The purchase, installation, or use of any Monster Armor product constitutes the customer's acknowledgment that they have read, understood, and accepted this disclaimer and limitation of liability.
