How To Install
For maximum safety and stability, Monster Armor recommends installing each floating shelf using hardware appropriate for your specific wall type and application. Whenever possible, shelves should be mounted directly into a wall stud. If stud mounting is not possible, appropriate drywall anchors or equivalent mounting hardware must be used.
Before placing collectibles or other items on the shelf, ensure the shelf is securely mounted and test the stability and rigidity of the installation. Improper installation may result in the shelf detaching from the wall, which could cause injury or property damage.
To ensure proper fitment of acrylic display cases and collectibles, screws should be installed flush with the surface of the floating shelf. Screws that protrude above the shelf surface may interfere with the proper placement and stability of the display case.
The use of Command™ Strips or any adhesive-based hanging products is not recommended for installation of this shelf.

Designed to pair seamlessly with most standard 4" Funko Pop protector cases, the Monster Armor floating shelf provides a clean, secure fit for Monster Armor cases, PopShield cases, and Funko Pop cases. Camokin and Lodasafe cases fit snugly on the shelf; however, depending on the mounting hardware used and installation method, these cases may rest closer to, or directly on, the screw area. Users should carefully remove cases from the shelf to help avoid potential scratching or surface wear. Because manufacturers may update or modify their case designs, dimensions, or production tolerances over time, and because slight variations in size and shape can occur between individual acrylic cases, we strongly recommend testing one shelf with your specific protector case prior to purchasing or installing multiple shelves to verify compatibility and fitment for your application.

What type of screw should I use?
For the most secure installation, we recommend mounting directly into a wall stud using appropriate wood screws. If stud mounting is not possible, use high-quality drywall anchors or mounting hardware specifically rated for your wall type and intended load. Customers have reported successful installation using #6 wood screws, which have been found to sit nearly flush within the countersunk mounting holes; however, these screws may not be appropriate for all applications. Always ensure screws sit properly within the countersunk mounting holes before placing collectibles on the shelf. The installer is solely responsible for selecting the appropriate mounting hardware and verifying the shelf is safely and securely installed for their specific application.

We strongly recommend installing the shelf using appropriate screws and mounting hardware for your wall type. The use of adhesive mounting products, including Command Strips or similar alternatives, is not recommended and may result in the shelf failing or detaching from the wall. Users choosing to utilize adhesive mounting methods do so entirely at their own risk.
